Transformers at 40: What Is Actually Confirmed

The Autobots are returning to theaters—but the clearest movie news belongs to the animated classic.

The Transformers: The Movie celebrates its 40th anniversary with a 4K theatrical return September 17–21, 2026. Hasbro’s playful “Apology Tour” nods to fans still recovering from the 1986 film’s most infamous loss.
